European Council decided on the human rights, launching a binding international treaty to combat violence against women. The council said it is the first treaty of its kind in the world.
The human rights center said the "Security" states that the signatories will adhere to the allocation of a hotline, shelter, medical care, legal assistance for women who have suffered rape or other forms of violence.
And signed the treaty, at a meeting in Istanbul, of Turkey, France, Germany, Greece, Spain, Slovakia, Austria, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Portugal, Sweden and other countries.
He described the treaty as "a comprehensive mechanism of action to stop all forms of violence against women." Statistics show that 15 percent of women are victims of domestic violence.
