Oats lowers cholesterol

Washington: U.S. study confirmed that people who depend on a diet rich in substances that reduce cholesterol, such as nuts, soy, avocado, olive oil and oats have a record for the biggest drop in cholesterol levels compared with persons who were dependent on material-based diet low in fat.

The results after six months of the adoption of a diet based on the particular materials to reduce cholesterol levels to decline in the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) by 13% as stated in the report published by the "Journal of American Association, Miedkal."

 The study, according to the newspaper "Khaleej" it showed the potential benefit to eating food that lowers cholesterol combined.

The study was conducted in four different locations in Canada - Quebec City, Toronto and Vancouver Wynebg and included 351 participants with high cholesterol levels, and lost all the participants in the experiment the same weight between 2.1 and 7.1 kg during the study period.

And food-lowering cholesterol that were given to the group that adopted this system was based on the interest to the list of Food and Drug Administration and advice to improve the health of the heart, including the use of olive oil.

And other food oats, soy, tofu, avocado and grains, lentils, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios and walnuts.
